The Don Monti Memorial Research Foundation

DEDICATED TO RAISING FUNDS...AND INSPIRING HOPE

The Don Monti Memorial Research Foundation (DMF) is a nonprofit organization that works tirelessly in support of cancer research. It was started by the late Tita and Joseph Monti, founders of the Crest Hollow Country Club, in memory of their son who died of acute myeloblastic leukemia when he was 16 years old.

Since 1972, DMF has raised more than $45 million in support of research, education and patient care in the fields of oncology and hematology.  One-hundred percent of every dollar donated supports our endeavors by: serving our patients being treated in the Don Monti Cancer Centers throughout the Northwell Health stystem; supporting the research activities of our scientists at the Joseph & Tita Monti Research Center at the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory; and fostering the academic enrichment and growth of our students in the Joseph, Tita & Don Monti Masters Program in Genetic Counseling at Long Island University’s Post Campus.

The Foundation is now under the direction of Don’s sister, President Caroline Monti Saladino. The Chairmen of the Board are Arthur Saladino & Richard Monti. Richard Monti is Crest Hollow’s Chief Executive Officer.
